A fantastic place for authentic Chinese cuisine with a European fine-dining plating style. There is no better place (not even in China) for Beijing duck. Simply sensational.

What an experience we had today! Great food, well told about the dishes and the wines by a very experienced sommelier.The dishes were all prepared with great care and attention and were of very high quality.Recommended for anyone who loves Asian cuisine and wants to spend a pleasant evening.10/10! What a wonderful thing, effort has been spared. Original (authentic) Chinese pieces of furniture and artefacts throughout the building remind us of the kitchen, .. Chinese! The private dining rooms are beautiful. For 60 euros per person (ex drink) for a 6-course dinner a reasonable price (this time we had lunch a la carte in the restaurant)We have eaten the signature dish Peking Duck, lobster, seafood and much more. All delicious.The duck was on the dry side relatively quickly (it is on an earthenware dish with a 'light' underneath).The service is very friendly (Christopher) and knows what he is talking about (this Dutch boy even speaks Chinese fluently!).I doubted between 4 and 5 stars. This was caused by the high prices. The food is really good, but they ask for the main prize.Nevertheless, maybe next time we will use our own room, ... who knows how the price / experience / quality will turn out.

The food is almost not worth to mention. But the environment and decoration of the restaurant is lovely. And the owner was absolutely friendly! Suitable for dinner with anyone who desires “compromised Chinese dish”. This means none of the dishes are either tasty or authentic. They are plein and somehow tasteless. Although it looks like a high-end Chinese cuisine restaurant, I am afraid you will be disappointed.

The photo was not taken ... from the moment I walked into this store, I can feel the sincerity of the owner. I have eaten many Szechuan dishes from Amstelveen, but I do n’t have any amazing feelings. At night, I tried to take some food and tried to take some vegetables. It was really delicious and the mutton was delicious. What's even more touching is that the clerk will remind you that the big dish chicken may not be Chinese taste, and suggest whether to change the menu ...

Haven’t been there yet but finally a decent chinese restaurant opens in the Netherlands. It’s time to change the image of dirty Chinese restaurant! Will visit as soon as I can and upgraded my comments. Grew up in Beijing, I’ll test the duck for you!

Awesome Chinese restaurant, the feeling of returning to China in one step. From the starter to the dessert, it is exquisite and rich in taste. Named praised roast duck and black pepper hot and sour soup, potato chips base, cucumber sweet-scented osmanthus cake roast duck skin decorated with caviar, a new and unique taste.

Update: They ended up delivering it to us somehow. I appreciate their effort in making this right. This is great customer service! Absolutely disappointing. Made an online order, paid for it, called to check if delivery is for today and if delivery to haarlem was ok. Was told it’ll take1 hour for food to be delivered since we are in Haarlem. 1 hour later, I get a call saying they can’t deliver. I’ve got no food in the house, starving kids and it’s too late to order from anywhere else. They are totally irresponsible, disorganized and have totally messed up my day.

As shown in the pictures, the decorations of this restaurant and the presentation of all the dishes are good. So 1 star for this point.The owner is polite, so 1 star for the service.However, this restaurant is NOT an authentic Chinese restaurant as it’s stated on the website “True Chinese Cuisine”. As a restaurant, service is important but the food itself is the foundation and the essential. We went there because of its advertisement which promote it as an authentic Chinese restaurant, we’re quite disappointed.

Although Eminem has a lot of Cantonese cuisine, it tastes good, but always feels that the environment and service are almost the same. Service is fantastic. Food is just so so. Not really true Chinese taste but more Foreigner oriented.

Very nice restaurant. Friendly and professional staff. The food was delicious and the presentation of the dishes was great. The wishes that were communicated in advance (vega and fish) were taken into account very well. Many varieties of tofu and shrimp. We were with a large group and the food was quickly served up, fresh, hot and delicious.

This restaurant pretends to be a kind of culinary high-quality Chinese restaurant. But apart from the indeed beautiful presentation of the dishes, we found very little about eating here. I have eaten the Peking duck with pancakes many times better for much cheaper with a less pretentious Chinese, the noodles and boneless chicken with vegetables were bland in taste and not at all special and finally the dessert - a promising on the menu but in practice very disappointing 'Beijing style' almond tofu: a small dish with something that did not taste more spectacular than a semolina puddle from Albert Heijn, but costs 8 euros. Go to any Chinese in Chinatown Amsterdam and you will get better food for a lot less money.

Great Peking duck and the Jasmine dragen tea was super fragrant. Goes really well with the duck.

Finally authentic Chinese food in Holland! Their tea selection amazing, it's what you would never expect in here.

The service and food here were both wonderful.

We had a wonderful dinner at Amber Gardens. Upon receipt we were kindly received and we got a nice table at the window with a view of the kitchen which is very nice because you see the chefs in action. It is certainly not a Chinese restaurant as we know it in the Netherlands, you can eat amazingly high-level food with traditional Chinese dishes here. everything was in balance, the service extremely professional and knew how to answer all questions and the food was great. We will be back soon.

Then you are at the right place at Amber Garden!Through an acquaintance we were told that they can serve a delicious selection of dishes for vegans.After booking and passing on our "vegan diet", everything was clear on arrival and we could be surprised with a menu or we could choose the a la carte menu ourselves. We opted for the menu and we were certainly surprised!Really delicious food! From Amuse to dessert enjoyed a real Chinese food experience. We can definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back soon to try out the new menu.

Push seriously! The super delicious Chinese restaurant is the way I used to share Chinese food. It is completely different from what I eat in other European Chinese restaurants. Each dish is exquisite and very particular, unlike other foreign Chinese restaurants. I transferred the concept of Western style to Chinese style and then only one plate of rice and main dish per person. It is the most preserved and restored Chinese food restaurant I have eaten abroad, especially the roast duck is exactly the same as the one I ate in Beijing and there is mutton and lobster! !!! The environment here is beautiful and the atmosphere is very good. There are independent boxes and bar counters. It is super suitable for friends gathering or people who want to eat Chinese food abroad. The transportation is also very convenient near the tram and bus stop.

Having a nice dining with my friends with good authentic Chinese food in here. It’s really the first time I taste the real Chinese food in Netherlands. love the homemade ice tea so much!!! Beijing duck it’s totally similar that the one that I have in Beijing, of course won’t be 100%same cuz the duck is different breeds also the sauce can’t get the same in Beijing, but it’s still really good! For sure I’ll come back again!

Went here as a birthday dinner, was not disappointed! Amazing food, insanely beautiful as it was tasty, which is rare these days! Restaurant in itself looked professional, but cosy at the same time, well mannered staff who can and will tell you about what you are about to eat. To top it off.... "和牛"!!! 🔥

Best Chinese Cuisine restaurant in the Europe, I'm not kidding!!! You could taste the natural flavour of the food and ingredient. The handmade dumplings are gorgeous. I would definitely come to this restaurant again when I visit Amsterdam. Location wise, it's close by the AMS airport, would be a good choice if transfer the flight there.

Amazing tea and amazing food. I highly recommend the peking duck, Sichuan style prawns, fried tofu, stewed eggplant, and almond tofu dessert. I advise to pick the lapsang souchong black tea and dark chrysanthemum tea to go with the food.
